WHAT WE DO
WJCI’s mission is to advocate for fair, just and compassionate laws, policies, and programs to support immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Our guiding principles are to welcome the stranger, and protect refugees and asylum seekers. We do this by concentrating our efforts on these key areas:
Promoting policies and educating legislators on behalf of immigrants, including refugees and asylum seekers.
learning about the global refugee crisis and educating our communities about what is happening at home.
Partnering with strong, like-minded organizations with a passion for issues around immigration.
WJCI works through:
Involving the Jewish and wider Westchester community on immigration issues.
